Early Years Pupil Premium Strategy

The allocation of Early Years Pupil Premium (E.Y.P.P.)

The EYPP was introduced in the summer term 2015.  

Individual schools were allocated funding for children whose families are in receipt of the benefits below:-

  • Income Support aspects of Universal Credit

  • Income Based Job Seekers Allowance

  • Support from NASS (National Asylum Support Service) under part 6 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

  • Guarantee element of State Pension Credit

  • Child Tax Credit (with no working tax credit) with an annual income of no more than £16,190

  • Working Tax Credit

Universal Credit may replace the majority of these benefits under new legislation.
