This week in nursery we started our gardening club as part of our seeds and shoots topic.

We have enjoyed being in the spring sunshine preparing our pots and planters, exploring seeds and planting a range of flowers and vegetables.

We are excited to see how they grow!

Children’s Mental Health Week

This week in nursery we have been taking part in activities which support our mental health and well-being. This has included yoga, planting bulbs, spending time in the garden, completing well-being surveys, making our very own soup, drawing self portraits and discussing how we can support each other to feel good.

Chinese New Year

In nursery we love celebrating different traditions from different cultures around the world, over the last two weeks we have been celebrating Chinese New year.

We have explored different foods and made a bar chart of which foods we enjoyed, used different media to write Chinese symbols, painted our very own tiger prints, discovered different landmarks and made our own versions as well as preparing and taking part in our very own Chinese New Year dragon dance.
