WEDNESDAY 12TH DECEMBER

NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS VISIT

children in Wetlands and Woodlands will be visiting Wharton Park for a special activity day.

MEADOW CLASS ACTIVITY DAY

FRIDAY 14TH DECEMBER

SAVE THE CHILDREN CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY

Everyone can wear non uniform and Christmas jumpers or tops if they wish to.

Donations welcome fore the charity.

TUESDAY 18TH DECEMBER

CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCE – MAIN SCHOOL

Older children perform the story of Christmas and some of our favourite songs.

FRIDAY 21ST DECEMBER -AM

CHRISTMAS CRAFTS DAY AND RAFFLE

9.30-11.30

Nursery sessions are closed today and we welcome you to drop in at any time in the morning to take part in arts and crafts,games, sparkly tattoo and enjoy lots of Christmas fun.

There is no charge for the activities but we ask if you can donate to the raffle or tombola prizes and buy our raffle tickets. you may win a gorgeous gift basket for Christmas.

All children must be accompanies buy an adult for this session.

SCHOOL CLOSES FOR HOLIDAYS 3.45PM

AFTER SCHOOL CLUB IS CLOSED AND 30 HOUR CHILDREN MUST BE COLLECTED BEFORE HOME TIME.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Reminder to parent/carers that Monday 3rd December will be Polar Express day in nursery, children can join us in wearing pyjamas.

This week is national anti bullying week, we will continue to encourage children to be kind and happy in nursery.

You can also talk to your child at home about having kind hands and kind words in nursery and at home.

Thank you everyone who attended our children in need Journal day, it is lovely to see so many families in nursery. We hope you all had a lovely time and enjoyed looking through the children’s journals.

Welcome to the start of a new school year here at Usworth Colliery Nursery School.

We welcome back returning families and new starters. Over the next few weeks we are looking forward to getting to know all children and making a start on the year ahead.
